About the project

Support Heroes Unmasked to ensure our frontline workers and staff at the Hospital are recognised and acknowledged for the significant burden and risk they find themselves in each day. Heroes Unmasked is a photography project, documenting all Hospital staff “unmasked” and providing portrait badges for them to wear on their PPE. A photography exhibition of staff within the Hospital corridors, and the building of a much needed staff walkway branded with the staff ‘unmasked heroes’ are key elements to ensuring the restoration of ‘lost’ human connection, as well as prioritising dignity for our staff.

The Trust has committed to raising R 875,000 to make Heroes Unmasked a reality. Help us ensure our frontline workers are acknowledge and valued every day at our Hospital.
